Historical Background

The faculty of engineering in the North Jeddah Campus was established in 15/09/1431H (25/08/2010 G). Students have the option to enroll in one of the following programs:  Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

In 14/11/1433 H (30/09/2012 G), the President of Higher Education Council approved adding three more departments: Chemical Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Department, and Architecture Department in meeting no. 71 of the academic year 1433/1434, dated 14/ 11/ 1433 H, recommendation number (1433/71/12). However, the newly added departments have not been activated yet.
